Sunlight Won't Save You Now. Can You Steal the Gem?
Deep in the dark forest of Durham lies a lair isolated from civilization—a place where werewolves and goblins are the least of your worries. Within these mountains sits the infamous castle of Count Dracula. But this isn't the vampire of legend you think you know. Dracula has obtained a magical gem that has made him invincible. Stakes, sunlight, and silver are useless. The only way to defeat the Count is to infiltrate his palace, navigate the shadows of the manor, and steal the gem from within the castle walls. You and your team have volunteered for this impossible mission. Steal the stone, strip Dracula of his power, and find the one secret way out before the Count finds you.

Why Vampire Manor is a "Must-Play" in the Triangle
Non-Linear Puzzles: This room is designed for high-level thinkers. You’ll need to connect clues hidden deep within the manor’s "Gothic" lore to progress.
Immersive Set Design: We’ve focused on the "Cleanliness and Quality" standard to ensure the manor feels old and eerie, not "worn down." Every prop is part of the story.
The "Boss Battle" Feel: Unlike other rooms where you just find a key, this room has a clear mission: Defeat Dracula by stealing his source of power.
Perfect for Night Owls: With our Thursday–Sunday late hours, Vampire Manor is the top choice for late-night adrenaline seekers in Durham.
The Mission Xscape Competitive Edge
Better Availability for Groups: Competitors like Bull City often book out their "scary" themes weeks in advance. Check our real-time calendar for last-minute slots in the Manor.
The Best Value in Durham: Most premium horror-themed rooms in NC charge $35+. Join the hunt for just $25—or take advantage of our $15 Student Thursday if you’re coming from Duke or NC Central.
Room-Specific FAQs
Question:Is it too scary for kids?
Answer: Vampire Manor is designed to be suspenseful and "spooky" rather than full of "gory" horror. It is appropriate for teens and brave older children, but we recommend Candy Land for the little ones!
Question: Do we need a large group to win?
Answer: With a 38% success rate, more brains help! However, we have seen talented "Power Couples" beat the Count with just two players.
Question: How difficult is the "Gem" puzzle?
Answer: It requires observation and logic. If you get stuck in the dark, our Game Masters are standing by to provide a "psychic nudge" to keep the story moving.
The Count is Waiting. Will You Take the Risk?
Slots in the Manor are limited and fill up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Don't leave your fate to the shadows.
