Game Master

We design puzzles and create riddles for our theme rooms. This is a great opportunity for the right individual who is looking for a position that is fast-paced, exciting, and has the opportunity for growth. Working side by side with an energetic team, we work together to deliver an amazing and unique Escape Room experience for every guest. We're looking for hard-working and energetic individual to join our fun and creative team as a Game Master. Candidate must be available to work from 12 pm to 11 pm on weekends and from 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays. Weekend availability is required.

General responsibilities:

• Greet our guests. Introduce the room escape concept and the rules of the game and the features of our games.

• Brief guests for the games.

• Monitor game progress through cameras and provide hints and assistance during the game.

• Reset the game rooms after each game.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the common area and theme rooms.

• Answer reservation and booking phone calls and other customers' questions.

• Organize and manage online reservation and booking schedules.

• Accurately account cash and credit card transactions.

• Manage social media accounts such as Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, Instagram etc. to promote Mission X Escape.

• You may be asked to help out other things such as making gadgets and puzzle gears. Be creative and artistic. It's a lot of fun!

 

Candidates must have the following qualities:

• Outgoing, friendly, and positive.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

• Ability to multitask.

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Detail-oriented and organized.

• Be proficient in social media.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Great at problem solving and able to think on your feet.

• Quick-learning and flexible.

• A team player.

• An art-related degree is a plus.

• Prior customer service experience such as restaurant, apparel stores or sales is a plus.

Hours: 15- 25 hours/week
